FFS Brands, whose flagship franchise is Southern Fried Chicken has launched a new sister franchise, AJ’s Piri Piri.
According to Chris Gibson, President of the FFS Brands Group, AJ’s Piri Piri provides a complete turnkey solution, enabling would-be franchise owners to enter the exciting and rapidly growing fast food marketplace, with an affordable investment.
“In recent years the fast food market in the UK has experienced rapid growth with more consumer spend on quick service catering than ever before, but also a rising demand for healthier food options,” he said.
“The timing of the launch of AJ’s Piri Piri therefore is absolutely spot-on for investors looking to embark on a new venture, under a well-established and proven brand, with the support of a highly experienced franchise development team.”
“Although we are rolling the brand out in the UK initially, subsequently we have ambitious plans to grow the network internationally, as we have with the Southern Fried Chicken brand.”
Initially aimed at the UK marketplace, the new franchise offers a fresh new style Quick Service Restaurant with bright, bold graphics and a menu of succulent, spicy chicken dishes.

Therefore, we decided to offer owners a new way to join us and benefit from systems that have worked for hundreds of franchisees all over the globe,” Gibson said.
He also said that it is entirely possible to start an AJ’s Piri Piri Restaurant for less than £30,000.
