Mod Pizza arrives at Intu Metrocentre Gateshead
The brand is set to open its third UK site.
MOD Pizza will open in Gateshead on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Located in intu Metrocentre, the newest location joins MOD’s existing stores in Brighton and Leeds as the brand continues its UK rollout.
MOD’s artisan-style pizzas and salads are individually crafted using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces. Customers can create their own pizza and salads, choosing any combination of over 30 featured toppings, or they can chose from the menu of MOD classics. Pizzas are hand-fired in a 300c oven in just minutes and salads are hand-tossed for each customer. The price always remains the same - £7.47 - regardless of the number of toppings. The menu is rounded out with soft drinks and handspun milkshakes. MOD Metrocentre will also offer £10 pitchers of Estrella beer.
To mark the opening of the new Metrocentre location, MOD will partner with local charity Children North East who will receive 100% of proceeds from pizza sales from the Grand Opening day. Children North East supports thousands of children each year through a range of services which help to combat the poverty and disadvantage children face throughout the region. MOD will continue to work closely to support Children North East throughout the year and beyond.
