Taco Bell targets four openings by year-end

It will launch its first restaurant in Scotland.

The brand's UK footprint has grown to 18 restaurants, with at least another four targeted to open before the end of the year. Its new Brighton restaurant, third restaurant in Sheffield, and first standalone Drive Thru in Rockingham, Barnsley are all set to open before the end of the year.

The Brighton restaurant, located at 95 Western Road, Brighton, BN1 2LB, will be operated by Taco Bell's new franchisee Caskade Group who opened their first Taco Bell restaurant in Southampton in November of last year. There will be over 100 seats in the double-story store.

Taco Bell's Nick Dawson said, “There is so much love and excitement for the brand in the UK so our goal is to continue to spread the love and open in locations where we can conveniently cater to as many people who are excited to try Taco Bell as possible. We will build out our presence in our current regions and expand into new areas as indicated by our move into Scotland.

“We’ll be looking for those locations which best enable us to feed people at lunch and dinner as well as late night and possibly breakfast. That means locations like Brighton, with high footfall and high visibility, which will include high street locations as a focus, as well as drive thru’s and food courts.”
