Caffè Nero appoints new UK CEO

Will Stratton-Morris joins Caffè Nero from SSE retail, where he was divisional CEO.

He has previously been the CEO of the Intercontinental Hotel Group for UK and Ireland and has more than 25 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry with M&S, Walt Disney and British Airways. He will partner with Caffè Nero’s MD Glyn House to lead the UK business forward, and report to founder and Group chief executive Gerry Ford.

This appointment marks the next step to bolster senior management allowing Caffè Nero to continue its ambitious growth plans.

Gerry Ford, founder and Group Chief Executive, said, “We are extremely happy to have Will join us. He brings in a lot of energy and experience which will enable us to take advantage of the many opportunities we have in front of us. His background in General Management and Marketing means he can free me of some of my responsibilities and be a complimentary partner with Glyn to drive our UK business.”
