Martin Williams, Founder of M Restaurants, announced that he will be ramping up his expansion plans post Brexit with a sister offering – M SOCIAL.
The brand’s intention was to open a third M venue in similar size and scale (10,000sq ft) to its current venues, and was searching for a site in Mayfair or Soho. However, post Brexit, Williams embarked on a change of strategy to take advantage of the opportunities in local London markets with a new, smaller ‘M SOCIAL’ branded offering.
“M SOCIAL, will take the core elements that have made our multi-faceted Threadneedle St and Victoria St venues such a success and given the M Brand so many accolades. These core elements, such as our electronic wine dispensing machines, innovative cocktails & world’s best steaks, (when paired with heightened hospitality and to create a home from home for our regular guests), can be applied to both central ‘flagship’ venues and intimate outer London locations alike,” he said.
“Prior to Brexit I was already of the view that local weekend dining in Outer-London was a market I was keen to capture. I am now convinced that in the current environment, M Social is the perfect offering and vehicle to grow the M brand.”
