Pizza Hut unveils a pizza-ordering tattoo

Forty limited edition tattoos available for the public to claim from Friday 21st October.

Pizza Hut UK launched an innovative way to order pizza, by introducing the world’s first pizza ordering tattoo. The concept, which has been months in development for the idea to be finally realised, promises to revolutionise the takeaway ordering landscape forever.

The brand new state-of-the-art innovation from Pizza Hut UK will allow pizza fans to order instantly via collection from a restaurant or delivery from their local Hut. Pizza Hut UK is making 40 available to the public who are advised to follow the Pizza Hut Restaurants UK or Pizza Hut Delivery UK Facebook pages for further details on the how they can acquire one.

The designs, while only temporary, contains technology that uses a combination of Near Field Communication (NFC), QR and even the GPS module in the user’s phone, to enable pizza fans swift access to their pizza.

To order:

Stick - Peel off the back of the temporary tattoo and place anywhere on the body
Tap - Use a smart phone to hover over the tattoo
Order - Select between collection or delivery to make an order
