Bob & Berts returns to the expansion trail with Warrington opening
Group sales reached £24.3m for the FY2026 period ending June 2026.
Independent coffee shop brand Bob & Berts opened a new café at Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington on 26 August 2026, marking the first opening in the brand's five-year expansion strategy.
Founded in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, in 2013, Bob & Berts has grown from a single neighbourhood coffee shop to a 28-store business spanning Northern Ireland, Scotland and England.
Group sales reached £24.3m for FY2026, period ending June 2026, an increase of 8% year-on-year. Trading EBITDA rose to £2.8m (FY26) v a previous year of £1.6m (FY25).
Bob & Berts’ proposition is a full kitchen serving a wide menu of freshly prepared breakfasts, brunches and lunches alongside handcrafted drinks. This all-day dining concept has helped establish the brand as a destination for everything from breakfast meetings and family lunches to afternoon catch-ups, supporting its continued growth across the UK.
The new 3,000 sq ft Warrington store will create 20 new jobs and seat 135 guests, further strengthening the brand's presence in England.
The opening also reflects Bob & Berts' continued investment in its customer experience, with guests able to order at the till, via self-service kiosks or directly from their table using the brand's digital ordering technology.
