Chipotle expands UK footprint with Holborn opening

The new restaurant is expected to create approximately 30 local jobs.

Chipotle will open its new restaurant in Holborn on 17 September, marking its 22nd location in the UK.

The restaurant, located steps from Holborn Underground Station, will offer the brand’s burritos, bowls, salads, and tacos, with customers able to customise their meals.

To mark the opening, the first 100 guests will receive a free entrée and one of Chipotle’s “Chih-Poat-Lay” T-shirts, which references the phonetic pronunciation of the brand’s name.

The new restaurant is expected to create approximately 30 local jobs.

Holborn will also join nearly half of Chipotle’s UK locations offering halal-suitable Adobo Chicken.
