Papa John's to open takeaway site in Ferndown

20 jobs are expected to be created as a result.

Papa John’s is looking to open a site in Ferndown.

A change of use application by the pizza firm for the premises in Ringwood Road was approved by a Dorset Council officer under delegated powers.

The chain is permitted to only be open to customers and operate deliveries between 11am and 11pm.

The premises Papa John's is set to take on previously operated as a flooring shop showroom, but it has been vacant for several months and sits in a small parade of retail units.

Approximately 20 jobs are expected to be created as a result.

Papa John's was recently named as Pizza Delivery Chain of the Year by the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Food Association (PAPA) for the second year in a row.

"We have continued to drive improvements across all areas of our business. Winning this award back-to-back is the result of our team all working together towards the same shared vision and goal," Justin Gilbert, director of business development for Papa John’s UK, said in a statement.
