Starboard Dining will operate delivery stores in the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West.
Pizza Hut Delivery is set to expand its operations in the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West of England, courtesy of a new franchising partnership with Starboard Dining.
The agreement will see Starboard become the franchisee for 27 existing delivery and takeaway Huts across the regions.
The move will also see the renovation of existing Huts, as well as opening several new stores in the year ahead.
Pizza Hut operates over 700 Huts across the UK, with approximately 350 Delivery locations.
Pizza Hut Delivery announced November last year to open 125 new locations over a three-year period, creating around 2,000 additional jobs.
Starboard, which ventured into takeaway four years ago to utilise its franchising experience, is considered to be one of the UK’s leading independent hotel owners, developers and operators of hotels, partnering with brands such as Hilton, IHG, Accor, Wyndham and Best Western.
“We’re excited to see what new growth 2021 has in store for us, including increasing our footprint through strategic franchising deals such as this. Starboard and our other franchisees play a key role in helping us to deliver customer favourites safely, provide essential jobs and support our communities throughout the pandemic,” Neil Manhas, general manager for the UK at Pizza Hut Delivery, said.
