Wimpy makes High Wycombe comeback

The company previously had a restaurant in the area until January 2009.

Wimpy announced the opening of its store in High Wycombe, Bucks Free Press has reported.

Due to the lockdown restrictions, only takeaways and home delivery orders can be made for the new eatery in White Hart Street. There will be seating for 44 diners once restrictions are lifted.

Wimpy High Wycombe is the brainchild of four franchisees - Altan Ogretici, Ahmet Sevinc, Yujel Mehmed and Asrarjon Abdullaev - who have more than 20 years experience of running restaurants.

“We know that Wimpy has been much missed in High Wycombe and are delighted that with all their combined experience, Altan and his fellow franchisees have been successful in bringing it back to the town. We wish them every luck in the future,” Wimpy UK general manager Chris Woolfenden.
