Chopstix promotes Elio Elia to Marketing Director
He will oversee the company’s marketing, commercial, and innovation strategies.
Chopstix has promoted Elio Elia to marketing director after 11 years with the Asian QSR group.
Elia joined Chopstix in supply chain and procurement, where he worked on establishing the operational infrastructure needed to support the company’s growing restaurant estate.
He later became Commercial Director, overseeing product strategy, licensing partnerships, and innovation.
In that role, he helped develop the brand’s customer proposition and drive commercial growth.
As Marketing Director, Elia will oversee marketing, commercial, and innovation strategy, bringing the three functions together as Chopstix expands its presence in the UK and mainland Europe.
He will also work with teams across QSRP on its local and international plans, including sharing practices across markets.
The Chopstix Group now operates more than 170 stores.
Its expansion has accelerated over the past year, including its entry into France with its first mainland European site earlier this year.
Founded in Camden Market in 2002 by Sam Elia and Menashe Sadik, Chopstix remains led day-to-day by its founders.
The group is targeting further expansion as it works towards becoming the largest Asian QSR company on the continent.
