Jersey Mike’s appoint UK CEO

The sandwich chain will open its first restaurant in the UK in November.

JM Submarines UK Ltd, the master franchisee for Jersey Mike’s in the United Kingdom and Ireland, has appointed experienced hospitality, retail and franchise leader Satnam Leihal as CEO.

Previously the CEO of Boparan Restaurant Group, Leihal will lead the UK and Ireland business, overseeing the development of Jersey Mike’s local operations, franchise platform and restaurant estate as the brand establishes itself in the market.

The appointment comes as Jersey Mike’s prepares to open its first UK restaurant in London this November.

Leihal will work closely with Jersey Mike’s founder Peter Cancro and the wider leadership team to bring the brand to the UK and Ireland.
