McDonald’s will conduct coronavirus safety reviews of its restaurants in the next six weeks as the U.S. continues to experience a record high number of new cases. The fast food giant will conduct one visit per franchisee, according to an internal note to U.S. operators viewed by CNBC. Read more here.

DoorDash filed its IPO prospectus with the U.S.’ Securities and Exchange Commission, the latest third party delivery platform to go public. As reported by CNBC, it reported US$1.9 billion in revenue for the nine months ended 30 September, up from US$587 million during the same period last year. Read more here.

Dunkin’ announced its holiday merchandise lineup, which includes a customizable shirt, robe, bedding amongst others. As reported by Nation’s Restaurant News, the chain also has a new customizable section of the brand’s gift shop, allowing customers to add someone’s name or a word to a baseball hat, a long sleeve t-shirt, a phone case or a laptop case. Chick-fil-A has officially added online ordering for its full menu in the U.S. after a test in select areas. Previously, customers could only place orders for catering via the brand's website, according to a report by Restaurant Dive. Read more here.

Chipotle has partnered with Uber Eats and dating app Hinge in the U.S. for its ‘cuffing season’ menu, consisting of limited-time combo meals and discounts for new couples. The new combos, which are only available to order via Uber Eats, include the Day Date (two entrees, chips and salsa and two Tractor beverages); the Date Night (two entrees, large chips and queso, two Tractor beverages); and the Hinge Date (one entree, chips and salsa and one Tractor beverage—designed for sharing), as reported by Restaurant Business.
