Itsu, Gok Wan team up for supermarket range ad campaign

The chain said January marked their biggest month ever of supermarket sales.

Itsu announced it has partnered with chef Gok Wan for a new advertising campaign that showcases its supermarket gyoza range.

The adverts feature the chef in his kitchen cooking easy Asian meals with the chain’s frozen gyoza and Brilliant’Broths offering.

The campaign will span TV, VOD, PR, Social and Outdoor in the first wave of investment.

“Gok has been a regular in our restaurants for years, so last year we finally invited him to itsu HQ to try our Gyoza and Brilliant’Broth – he was totally blown away (his words, not ours!). A few weeks later we were filming an advert for them in his kitchen,” Itsu founder Julian Metcalfe said.

January marked Itsu’s biggest month ever of supermarket sales, the chain said.
