Tampopo to give away 700 free katsu curries to students

A valid student ID is required, with each student limited to one portion.

Tampopo will give away 700 free katsu curries with rice to students across Manchester, Sheffield, and London on 27 September to mark National Katsu Curry Day.

The offer will run from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at seven participating Tampopo and East Street locations, with 100 portions available at each site.

Students and freshers can collect the free takeaway curry from special katsu curry pop-up hubs outside the participating restaurants.

A valid student ID is required, with one portion available per person and no purchase necessary.

In Manchester, the offer will be available at Tampopo Trafford Centre, East Street Trafford Centre, Tampopo Corn Exchange, and Tampopo Albert Square.

The participating Sheffield location is East Street Meadowhall, whilst London sites include Tampopo Fitzrovia and Tampopo Wimbledon.
