Paulig PRO adds two tortillas to foodservice range

The tortillas can hold fillings and sauces across cuisines.

Paulig PRO has expanded its Tortilla Toolbox with two new products: a 6-inch White Corn Tortilla and a 12-inch Wholewheat Tortilla Wrap.

The 6-inch White Corn Tortilla is made from corn and is designed for dishes including tacos, tostadas, and quesabirria.

The 12-inch Wholewheat Tortilla Wrap is made with wholewheat flour and contains 8.9g of protein per wrap.

Both products can be rolled, folded, grilled, and baked without tearing, according to Paulig PRO.

The tortillas are designed to accommodate fillings and sauces across different cuisines.

The company said the launches are aimed at foodservice operators responding to demand for new flavours, citing research showing that 74% of diners actively seek new flavours when eating out.

The tortillas can be used across dishes, including Mexican street food, Middle Eastern wraps, Korean BBQ burritos, and grab-and-go meals.
