Taco Bell arrives at Colchester
The Mexican-style restaurant chain launched its eleventh UK outlet on Head Street in Colchester on Tuesday September 20, 2016.
To celebrate the occasion, the first 100 customers on opening day will receive an exclusive ‘Colchester First 100’ T-Shirt for free with their order.
The two story, 46 seat Colchester restaurant features an urban look with influences from Mexico and the brand’s California based headquarters. The centrepiece is the open kitchen which showcases quality ingredients and lets consumers watch their food being made fresh to order. It will feature modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi and charging points for customer’s phones so they can connect and recharge while they eat.
Customers can order Taco Bell classics like Crunchy Tacos, Crunchwrap Supremes, Quesadillas and UK specific items like the Fajita Burrito and Mexican Fries. Sol Cerveza will also be available in the Colchester restaurant.
Speaking about the launch Nick Dawson, General Manager – Taco Bell Europe said, “This is the fourth Taco Bell restaurant that our franchisee Dart Taco has opened in the UK. We are proud to have such a great local partner who is driven to continue to bring Taco Bell to the people of Essex.”

We have had our eyes on Colchester for quite some time now and it’s really exciting to be able to finally give the people what they have been asking for."

Taco Bell Colchester is the second Taco Bell to open in 2016 and the fourth restaurant for the Essex region.
