
Subway's franchisees expressed concern on growth slack
Overall, sales at the privately held chain have fallen in each of the past two years.
According to New York Post, Subway still controls 76% of the US sub sandwich market space, down from 82% in 2013. The article also reported a long-time Subway franchisee saying that technical problems have long delayed the rollout of the loyalty program.
As such, there is a growing concern among franchisees that management is not up to the task of turning around the business.
