SticksʹnʹSushi to open in Leeds’ Vicar Lane in early 2027
The restaurant is expected to create around 60 jobs.
SticksʹnʹSushi is set to open its 18th UK restaurant in Leeds early next year, joining the Vicar Lane regeneration project, pending planning approval.
The three-storey, grade-II listed building at 80 Vicar Lane will offer an 8,839 sq ft space, including a 220-seat dining area, a 30-seat terrace, and an upstairs bar with private hire facilities.
“This will mark our second north of England opening, following Manchester next month,” said Andreas Karlsson, group CEO of SticksʹnʹSushi.
The interiors, designed by Berlin-based architects Diener & Diener, will combine Japanese design elements with Scandinavian influences.
The menu will feature à la carte and set options for dine-in or takeaway, with sushi, sashimi, salads, and grilled sticks available for sharing.
Drinks will include sake, Japanese teas, cocktails, spirits, beer, and the brand’s own yuzu pale ale.
