Dirt Coffee opens first London site as DMH targets 100‑store franchise rollout
It received a total investment of approximately £95,000.
Dirt Coffee, part of the DMH Brands group, has opened its first speciality coffee shop in Hornsey, north London, and is launching a franchise rollout targeting 100 UK sites within three to four years.
The Hornsey franchise partner's total investment came to approximately £95,000 including franchise fees, with annual rent set at £14,000.
DMH Brands founder David Hodgetts said these figures are two to five times below typical competitors' investment levels and three to 10 times below typical competitors' rents.
He added that the Hornsey site is already outperforming competitor brands on transaction volumes despite occupying lower-cost, lower-risk locations.
The site was launched by franchise partners Zakhir and Khurram, who said DMH Brands handled the full setup process, including property sourcing, design, fit-out, training, recruitment and marketing.
