Dirty Bones to launch first site outside London
It will open its in Westgate Oxford store on the 7th of December.
Dirty Bones Oxford will feature a collection of brand new dishes developed exclusively for the launch. These will include the sweet peach & BBQ glazed Smoked Baby Back Ribs, an expanded taco selection led by the Cheeseburger Tacos, and vegan and vegetarian-friendly dishes including the Gem Lettuce & Grilled Halloumi Salad and quinoa, pecan and black bean Veggie Burger. Also, a limited-edition Holiday Burger and other festive dishes will also launch.
Dirty Bones Oxford will also bring back the hot dogs, including the Dirty Dog topped with BBQ pulled pork, bacon and jalepeño cheese and will be serving its weekend brunch menu, complete with new dishes such as the deep dish Double Dutch Pancake and Short Rib Pastrami Hash, along with Bottomless Boozy Brunch Cocktails.
Founder & director of operations Cokey Sulkin said, “Oxford is a vibrant, youthful city with so much history – a great balance of old meets new. The Dirty Bones concept is the same, combining the nostalgia of old-school Brooklyn with creative comfort food and cocktails that echo NYC’s innovative, evolving food scene. Oxford feels like a natural home to us, and we couldn’t be more excited for it to be our first home outside the capital.”
Overseen by Macaulay Sinclair, the design will take its inspiration from 1970’s Brooklyn, highlighting rich colours and dim lighting complementing velvet fabrics and statement furniture. Complete with a heated outdoor dining area, separate drinks lounge, open kitchen and a central bar, the restaurant will also bring the brand’s original playlist of old-school hip hop, funk and soul to the varied collection of restaurants on the recently opened Westgate Oxford roof terrace.
