Nando's new studio caters to aspiring musicians
Nando’s Soho offers professional equipment for producers, artists and DJs in the restaurant’s surroundings.
For no charge, applicants can enjoy an in-house studio engineer and industry standard equipment, including a Neumann U87 microphone. The opening comes as the launch of Nando’s Music Exchange, a programme which inspires the exchange of global music influences through mentoring, workshops and explosive events. The new studio will stage music workshops throughout the year.
A Nando’s spokesperson said, “We’re really excited to open our first music space, both for our growing network of artists but also for our fans looking for a unique experience in restaurant. Some of the best ideas have started over PERi-PERi (or so we’re told), so we’re looking forward to hearing what happens when we bring together chicken and tunes!”
