It plans to double its 25p off on all hot beverages in a bid to reduce the number of paper cups used every day.
Pret CEO Clive Schlee revealed the brand is considering doubling the discount for reusable cups.
Schlee said the idea has been floated in a bid to encourage more people to do away with paper cups and would mean the discount increases from 25 to 50p. It would mean the chain’s filter coffee would cost just 49p for customers bringing in their own cup.
