Subway gives away six-inch subs for Valentine's Day

On 14th February,Subway will offer a free 6-inch Sub with every large dispensed drink (597ml) or 500ml bottle of water purchased.

The nationwide offer, coined ‘Customer Appreciation Day’, will see the brand show its customers the love on Valentine’s Day between the hours of 11am and 7pm in the UK and all day.

In addition, customers who take up the ‘Customer Appreciation Day’ offer will receive a ‘Bounce back’ voucher redeemable from 15th February to 1st March. For £0.99 customers can get a Mega Melt 6-inch breakfast Sub or a free 6-inch Sub free with purchase of a 6-inch Sub and large dispensed drink (597ml).

The offer will be supported with a targeted ATL and social media campaign to spread the ‘Free Subs for All’ message. As well as radio, press and digital, the offer will be promoted with a dedicated social media campaign which will see the brand once again partner with comedian Arron Crascall, to encourage consumers to share their #FreeSubFace. Following the success of the recent Festive Feast campaign, Crascall will be surprising the public with a free Sub to showcase #FreeSubFace and encourage consumers to share theirs on ‘Customer Appreciation Day’.

To target consumers on the move, Subway will use location targeted advertising through Mobsta with a new creative look and feel developed specifically for ‘Customer Appreciation Day’ on this platform.

Sacha Clark, Marketing Director for the Subway brand UK and Ireland commented: “Strong customer relationships are at the heart of each Subway store. So what better way to show our customers our appreciation than on the most romantic day of the year?”
