Burger King UK lifts sales 6.8% to £379.9m in FY2025

The increase was mainly driven by higher home delivery volumes.

Burger King UK reported like-for-like sales growth of 6.8% to £379.9m for the year ended 31 December 2025, up from £355.8m in 2024.

The increase was mainly driven by higher home delivery volumes, supported by targeted marketing, improved in-store performance, and price rises introduced in 2024 and 2025.

The company also cited efforts to increase average customer spend.

Total revenue rose to £448.7m from £408.3m a year earlier, reflecting stronger sales and the contribution from new restaurant openings.

Gross profit increased to £30.5m from £23.9m, helped by a lower impairment charge.

Operating profit edged up to £4.1m from £3.4m, supported by tighter cost control, particularly in labour, including productivity gains and reduced non-trading hours.

Underlying EBITDA rose to £28m, whilst adjusted EBITDA reached £55.8m.

During the year, the company expanded its UK footprint, opening seven restaurants, refurbishing 31 sites, and closing 12 loss-making outlets.

It also introduced new menu items, expanded restaurant technology, and continued development of its mobile app.
