The Vurger Co launches fund-raising campaign for a new outlet
The brand is raising £180,000 in exchange for 23.08% of their business through the crowd-funding platform, Crowd Cube.
The crowd-funding campaign launched on Monday 3rd July and will require £180,000 that will fund their restaurant opening in early 2018.
The artisan veggie burger company offers a range of rewards to encourage support including a thank you dinner with the co-founders, a private tasting event for up to 15 friends, and a chance to dine free in their restaurants for life.
Available dishes will include The Classic (smoky black beans with peppers and corn topped with tomato, red onion and house-made Vurger sauce), The Mexican (spiced jalapeno and pepper bean patty topped with hot salsa, chilli mayo and smashed avocado) and The Auburger (Chipotle smoky aubergine, red onion and chickpea patty topped with cumin mayo and pickled cabbage) with sides such as skin on chips, sweet potato chips, truffle mac n cheese and Vurger slaw.
In the months ahead, co-founders Neil and Rachel will be hosting a temporary pop-up in Bethnal Green, East London, giving burger fans the chance to try their dishes over the summer.
