Chiktopia looks to compete with fast food heavyweights by going ‘counter-less'
The move is said to allow staff to focus on preparation and table service.
New chicken brand Chiktopia has partnered with UK self-serve kiosk software solutions provider Kurve is looking to compete against fast food giants by rolling out a ‘counter-less’ experience.
The brand says their new restaurant concept at Intu’s Lakeside is now “100%” dedicated to kiosk and app ordering, with the option to pay cash. This will allow Chiktopia’s staff to be “fully focused on food preparation and table service rather than transaction.”
100% self-ordering, Steven Rolfe, CEO of Kurve said: “Kurve’s platform and intuitive, visually tempting kiosk interface means we’ve created an end-to-end customer experience of sensory delight, choice, convenience, comfort and speed to rival some of the biggest players in the fast food market, with the added addition of that all-important human element of table service.”
“The software was tailored to handle Chiktopia’s meal deal ordering and upselling of its extensive selection of products for a truly quick and customisable order. Everything from drinks, portion size, sauces can be customised with no complications for the customer or kitchen,” Kurve CEO Steven Rolfe explained.
“From an operational perspective, the Kurve’s built-in fast food kitchen management system offers multiple kitchen management screens together with bump bars, to manage the food, order packaging and manages the control point to ensure the right customer gets the right order.”
