Voice concierge debuts in UK amid 2026 global rollout

The UK market serves as the primary launchpad before the international debut.

Just Eat Takeaway.com has launched its AI voice assistant in the UK to help consumers decide what to eat.

The AI voice assistant aims to reduce ‘choice overload’. The new AI assistant is designed to act as a personal food concierge. With the addition of conversational abilities, it streamlines the checkout process and offers tailored recommendations based on continued use.

The UK debut will follow a wider international rollout in 2026.

“We are harnessing the power of AI to empower everyday convenience across our entire network. From intuitive customer personalisation and partner success to smarter logistics, we are embedding automation into every interaction to deliver a seamless, efficient journey that creates real value for everyone,” Mert Öztekin, Chief Technology Officer at Just Eat Takeaway.com, said.
