Why Leon Looks Set to Take Off
New store opened at Stansted Airport.
Leon, the natural fast food chain, has opened its 21st outlet at Stansted after beating off competition from over 70 food and drinks businesses for one of the 12 units on offer.
Speaking of the new restaurant, which opened just before Christmas, John Vincent, CEO of Leon said "(2014)marks our 10th birthday, and opening in Stansted is a big part of our celebrations. When we opened in Carnaby Street in 2004... this is exactly what we dreamt of creating".
Head of Retail Food & Beverage for M.A.G, Jo Macey also commented saying "Leon is a very exciting concept in the healthy fast food market and their arrival into Stansted is another stepping stone in the £80 mill transformation taking place...Operated by HMS Host... with what will be a very popular option for passengers seeking low calorie food... the great selection on offer can be enjoyed either before the flight or taken away to eat on-board".
Leon expects to open 12 new stores this year, creating around 800 jobs.
