
93% of McDonald's outlets in UK, Ireland now open
More chains continue to announce reopenings as well.
About 93% of McDonald’s outlets in the UK and Ireland have now reopened, primarily for takeaway.
According to the company’s latest update, they have reopened a further 55 restaurants, leaving 92 of their 1,421 UK and Ireland restaurants to reopen “later in the year.”
All outlets that have reopened, with the exception of 28 stores, are also offering their breakfast service.
More reopenings announced
Other reopening announcements include KFC, saying that 100 of their UK restaurants have reopened their dine-in services. Fellow chicken chain Nando’s said it has reopened 10 of its UK restaurants for dine-in as well.
Costa Coffee's 44 outlets have also reopened their doors for dine-in whilst Wrap It Up announced its London Bridge and Bishopsgate sites have reopened.
Dishoom, meanwhile, said its Birmingham site will officially launch on 6 August.
