Leaders Who Lunch... Where our Political Class Like to Eat Out

Nando's, Little Chef and Pret a Manger get the nod.

Last week saw our political leaders have to fess up to their favourite QSR meals.

It all began when Prime Minister David Cameron was asked by Capital Radio where he would choose to take G7 leaders for lunch. Given the choice of a Harvester, a Gordon Ramsay pub or Nando's, the PM opted for the chicken chain.

Nick Clegg was then quizzed on the topic by LBC Radio, and plumped for Pret a Manger. Apparently the Deputy PM is a fan of the sandwich chain, and their swedish meatball wrap in particular.

Finally, not to be outdone, Ed Balls, Shadow Chancellor, gave his preferences to LBC too, saying that aside from his local fish and chip outlet, he is a fan of Little Chef.
