New Shake Shack branch to feature artwork from London-based artist

The new restaurant is located at one of London’s largest and oldest public open spaces.

International fast food brand Shake Shack is collaborating with London-based artist Michael Parkin to design the exterior of its new branch in Clapham.

The artwork is Inspired by the vibrant bustling streets and the peaceful Common. The artist aimed to capture the sense of community and fun that Clapham exudes. The exterior design mixes drawings and hand-made textures, all combined digitally to create a small snapshot of the local area.

This isn’t the first time the brand collaborated with an artist for the design of its new store. Last month, Shake Shack collaborated with another London-based artist, Aga Giecko, on a custom illustration for the building’s exterior.

The new restaurant is the 14th Shake Shack store in the UK.
