Byron relaunches in Kensington High Street with new offerings, brunch menu
The burger chain also partnered with suppliers to help bring clean water to poor countries.
Byron has re-opened its Kensington High Street restaurant with a refurbished interior, new dishes like The New Byron, and the debut of the chain’s first brunch menu, including a vegan butty and kiddie option.
The refurbished store features large communal tables and social spaces for brunch customers, as well as sofas for those who are working on their laptops.
“The new spaces are truly somewhere guests can be excited about spending time. They’re bright, modern and in line with the creative new food offering,” Byron’s food and drink director Sophie Mitchell said in a statement.
The store’s American-inspired brunch menu includes Chicken & Waffles, Tres Leches French toast with coconut crème, lime curd and salted caramel sauce and Breakfast Tostada, a corn tortilla filled with with feta, corn and black bean salsa, smashed avocado, fried egg, chilli and coriander.
It also offers two butties options: Byron Butties, made with thick cut bacon, a Cumberland patty, fried egg, cheddar cheese and ketchup and Veggie Butties consisting of grilled halloumi, roasted mushrooms, smoked ketchup and avocado.
A for-kids selection consisting of mini bacon, French toast and waffles, as well as sausage and egg and cheese butties are also available.
Byron also announced its partnership with two suppliers to bring clean water to poor countries and to feed children in coffee-growing regions in the UK.
For every Paddy & Scott coffee bag sold at Byron, its partner supplier will donate free school meals to children living in coffee-growing regions. The burger chain seeks to raise 10,000 school meals per year.
A self-serve, unlimited filtered water is also available in the store in partnership with One Water. From each sale, a pound will be donated to help fund projects supplying safe and clean water to poor countries.
