The 3,000 square ft site in Canary Wharf, will accommodate up to 96 covers.
Following its delivery-only launch, fast-casual Mediterranean pizza concept Gallio announced it will open its first full-service permanent site in Canary Wharf on December 6.
From DOMA Hospitality, which includes The Stafford London, its Game Bird restaurant, Sicilian restaurant Norma London, and Michelin-starred Northcote in Lancashire, Gallio will be located in The Atrium Kitchen on Upper Level 2 of Cabot Place.
The 3,000 square ft site will accommodate up to 96 covers and trade seven days a week from 11am – 10:30pm for lunch and dinner. It will also add breakfast to its menu starting January 3, 2022.
Gallio said its menu is inspired by the Mediterranean diet and showcases “a passion for fresh and natural cooking.” The brand’s signature base is made from a unique blend of grains mixed with yeast, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and filtered water before being hand-crafted to makeits thin and crispy bases.
The drinks menu meanwhile offers signature and classic cocktails and spritzes, alongside a list of wines and beers, and non-alcoholic options including mocktails, juices, smoothies and specialty teas and Union coffee.
Gallio Canary Wharf will also offer click and collect, pay by table app and delivery via Deliveroo within a 1.5-mile radius of the restaurant.
“Gallio aims to offer guests an escape to the Mediterranean with every visit. Diners are looking for healthier choices, better ingredients, fast service and great value, we deliver that guilt-free meal – lighter, cleaner and more sustainable – without compromising,” managing director James Porter said in a media release.
