Chris Burford returns to LEON as CFO
He will drive financial strategy whilst overseeing property and supply chain operations.
LEON has appointed Chris Burford as chief financial officer (CFO), marking his return to the company after founder John Vincent reacquired the business in October 2025.
In his role, Burford will oversee financial strategy and manage property as well as the commercial side of the supply chain as the company moves into its next phase.
Burford first joined LEON in 2014 as finance director after previously heading the finance function at Wagamama.
He remained with the company for seven years and was part of the leadership team during a period of growth.
Burford also played a significant role in LEON’s 2021 sale to EG Group and stayed on in a senior finance role within the wider organisation, gaining experience in a larger, international business.
Most recently, he served as CFO at Boxpark, where he focused on strengthening the company’s financial position.
