Paddy & Scott's inks multi-year partnership deal with Greene King

The coffee chain also revealed a 38% growth in sales for the final 6 months of 2019.

Paddy & Scott’s has signed a multi-year partnership with Greene King that sees the two Suffolk companies teaming up to offer high-quality coffee in pubs.

Under the new deal, Greene King’s Metropolitan Pub Company will roll out Paddy & Scott's coffee out in all of its 60+ sites. Licensees in Greene King’s Pub Partners division, comprising 1,000 leased and tenanted pubs nationwide, also have the option of serving Paddy & Scott’s coffee in their pubs.

“The last 10 years really has been a golden time for the craft coffee industry with double digit growth, but we’ve always said, when pubs start to take coffee seriously it will engage new audiences by allowing sites to tap into extended trading hours and takeaway coffee,” Paddy & Scott’s CEO Scott Russell said.

Greene King Pub Partners Managing Director, Wayne Shurvinton, added: “As pubs diversify to reflect changing consumer tastes throughout the day we’re delighted to be at the forefront of this trend with Paddy & Scott’s.”

Paddy & Scott’s said it experienced 38% growth in sales for the final 6 months of 2019. The Suffolk-based firm also opened a new Headquarters and concept cafe called Ambition House.
