Paul Hollywood, SSP to open first bakery at London Euston station
KNEAD by Paul Hollywood will launch at the end of September.
SSP, an operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, has teamed up with baker and star of Great British Bake Off Paul Hollywood to create a brand new coffee and bakery concept at London's Euston station.
KNEAD will open every day for breakfast serving handcrafted barista coffee, Paul's breakfast offerings, through lunchtime where the menu focuses on British classics such as handmade pies, mash and gravy, sausage rolls (sold by the inch), deli sandwiches, and a selection of freshly baked pastries and cakes. The store boasts indoor seating, mobile charging points and access to Euston station’s free wifi.
KNEAD Paul Hollywood said, “KNEAD has been a project I've been working on for some time, and I can’t wait for you to come and experience what we have created. We have worked really hard to give our customers something different, making sure we use the best possible ingredients and give customers the greatest service."
SSP UK CEO Simon Smith said, “We are delighted to be working with one of the country’s most celebrated and recognised bakers to bring a concept that’s new and exciting to the people who travel through or live and work in and around Euston.”
Network Rail Property commercial director of retail Hamish Kiernan said, “The fact that Paul Hollywood has chosen Euston station as the site of the very first KNEAD is an indication of our stations’ excellent reputation. KNEAD makes an exciting addition to Euston that we hope our customers and passengers will enjoy.”
