Abokado announces 27th store

The healthy food brand announced that it has signed a lease for a unit in the landmark Great Portland Estates development at 240 Blackfriars Road.

Mark Lilley, director, said ‘We’re delighted to be a part of this excellent scheme. It’s taken us a while to expand south of the river and we’re fired up to bring our feel great food to a new audience.’

‘It’s also encouraging that our trading continues to strengthen against a backdrop of negative sector news flow. At a time when some other operators have put the brakes on their expansion, we continue to push ahead with our rollout. We have a number of other sites under offer and remain committed to our vision of helping people lead happier and healthier lives.’

This will be Abokado’s 27th opening, following their store opening on Greville Street slated for early June.

240 Blackfriars includes a 19 storey commercial building comprising 240,000 square feet of office space. The scheme is fully let with tenants including media and publishing company UBM and law firm Boodle Hatfield.
