Dirty Bones to open in Shoreditch

Dirty Bones will open the doors to its latest site housed in the heart of Shoreditch on September 7.

Serving the creative New York inspired comfort food dishes and cocktails, Dirty Bones Shoreditch will also be the first of the group to house all-day dining throughout the week, and will be home to their new East-exclusive weekday breakfast menu as well as the ‘Dirty Roast’ every Sunday.

The new weekday breakfast will feature dishes like the Dirty Buns (flavours include the Truffled Chilli Cheese Bun); Matcha Custard French Toast; and Bourbon Poached-Pear and Banola. A selection of cold pressed juices and creative hot drinks such as the Turmeric Latte and the Dirty Chai will also be available, as well as a section dedicated to Shoreditch Crumpets (benedict crumpets topped with a choice of short rib, smoked haddock or sriracha’d goats’ cheese and avocado).

Also exclusive to Dirty Bones Shoreditch will be the all-new Dirty Roast, available from 12pm every Sunday, offering guests a choice of Brisket & Ox Cheek; Spiced Buttermilk Fried Chicken; or Beet & Portobello Melt, served with homemade gravy and all the trimmings. Groups of four or more will also be able to share the Table Roast, a sharing style experience that includes all three Dirty Roasts, three homemade gravies and a platter of sides to share.

For lunch and dinner the team have developed other new creations like the Cheeseburger Dumplings (homemade gyoza stuffed with aged burger mince and melting cheese), a section of Salads (such as the Dirty Mary Salad inspired by their best-selling cocktail), and the Shoreditch Signature main course of crispy, long cut lamb ribs slow-cooked for 15 hours and served with tangy chimichurri.

Dirty Bones Shoreditch will have a lively bar area, hosting DJ nights every Friday and Saturday from 9pm featuring old school funk, soul and hip hop music.

As for the design of the new space, Studio Lots & More and Gina Brennan collaborated on embracing the site’s eclectic history, highlighting the beauty of the old building's imperfections whilst subtly injecting Dirty Bones’ vibrant brand energy. Key pieces of the house, such as original dining room artwork, the grand pillared bar, and the painted façade of the restaurant remain as gently rejuvenated features, marrying the vintage look of the building with new, stylish, modern New York inspired touches; the neon, the brass bar top, bespoke lighting, mirrored table tops and the room’s wrap around velvet seating.
