Döner Shack opens first London store
Customers will be able to get a free kebap on opening day.
Berlin fast-food brand Döner Shack will be opening its first store in London.
Döner Shack is set to open on Baker Street on 27 March 2023, following its opening in Manchester, Leicester, Leeds and Glasgow. The fast-casual brand that specialises in kebaps, chicken schnitzels and milkshakes, is an exciting new addition to the famous street and aims to change the perception of kebabs in the UK.
As part of the Baker Street launch, visitors will be able to grab a free kebap from 27 to 31 March between 12PM to 2PM. The store will further boost the dining options available on one of the busiest streets in the city and is the first of 10 restaurants planned in the next year.

Spread across two floors, the restaurant has a state-of-the-art kitchen with robotic kebab cutters and a custom-designed travelator to transport the food to customers. There will be several self-ordering kiosks with multiple ordering and payment points to ensure the speed of service is best in class (five minutes on average) and a milkshake station, where guests can choose from six different flavoured signature milkshakes.
“Baker street is our first innovation restaurant, and we’re so excited to bring a new culinary sensation to London. The concept is based on our experience of street food in Berlin. In Germany, kebaps outsell the top five fast food brands 5-1 on a daily basis. This is not only due to the fact that the kebaps taste delicious, but also that the product itself uses premium quality lean meats and the freshest of ingredients all cooked to order. And they can be enjoyed as part of your everyday diet,” said Sanjeev Sanghera, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Döner Shack.
