The Duck Truck opens second site in Shoreditch
The brand announced that it will be opening an all duck ‘casual dining experience’ eat in or take out at BOXPARK, Shoreditch.
The Duck Truck is the brainchild of Ed Farrell and has been operating since 2012.
Farrell said, ‘I worked on a duck farm and fell in love with the duck. Duck is such a misunderstood meat in the UK and my mission is to put duck on everyone’s plate. Ducks are raised with very high welfare standards and the meat is so tasty, it’s actually the healthy option too less fatty than chicken when comparing the meat and the fat has similar properties to olive oil. Building on the success of my permanently located Duck Truck at Lamb Street, Spitalfields I feel The Duck Truck at BOXPARK, Shoreditch, which is a buzzing and exciting location, is a great opportunity to move forward and spread the ‘Duck’ news in the ever growing street food world.’
The Duck Truck offers a menu serving their duck dishes, including rotisserie cooked crispy duck wraps, crispy duck salads, brioche duck buns, duck breast steaks, confit duck leg and duck fat chips.
