Gloria Jean's Coffees plans Hungary comeback
Ten new stores are in the works.
Gloria Jean’s Coffees is set to returning to Hungary, with plans for 10 new stores in the next five years.
The Budapest Business Journal reports the first two shops are slated to open around St. Stephen’s Basilica and in the Arena Mall this month and in September, respectively.
The chain will be operated by franchisee Gloria Jean’s Coffees Hungary Kft., who bought the master franchise rights from Australia's Retail Food Group.
“We are the biggest franchise partners of Gloria Jeanʼs Coffees in the United States and have 13 stores in Chicago; we are the proud owners of the very first store of Gloria Jeanʼs Coffees from where it all started,” Tahir Mahmood, COO of Gloria Jean’s Coffees Hungary Kft, told the publication.
