Taco Bell launches Baja Blast in the UK for the first time
The rollout begins with a limited launch at Taco Bell’s Baker Street restaurant in London.
Taco Bell is launching Baja Blast for the first time, bringing the Mountain Dew drink to its UK restaurants exclusively.
The release follows years of interest from UK fans, including a petition signed by more than 338 people calling for the drink to be made available in the country.
The company also said that interest continued to rise, with Google Trends data showing UK searches for Baja Blast have increased by 40% over the past five years.
The rollout will begin with a limited launch at Taco Bell’s Baker Street restaurant in London from 26 to 28 June before the drink becomes available at selected UK locations from 30 June, whilst stocks last.
Customers attending the Baker Street launch will also have access to limited-edition merchandise available to early buyers.
The launch forms part of Taco Bell’s wider UK marketing activity around the product, including events and promotional activity in London ahead of the broader release.
