Harry Ramsden's reveals new look for its stores
The next generation Harry Ramsden restaurant at the Blackpool Tower officially opened, revealing the new look of the brand for the first time.
With its modern take on seaside design which has been specially created for Blackpool and its iconic landmark, the positive feedback from the brand’s traditional fan base aims to mirror that of the new generation of customer that Harry Ramsden’s is now attracting.
With old and new customers in mind, as well as Harry’s world famous fish and chips, the updated menu includes fresh, cooked to order rotisserie and grilled seafood and meat dishes, salads, burgers, and an extended vegetarian range.
State of the art, interactive technology is a key feature of the next generation Harry’s and is proving popular with diners of all ages - a 19ft LED screen projecting constantly updated images stretches across the restaurant and “Harry’s selfie pod” instantly displays customer images onto a massive screen.
Joe Teixeira, CEO of Harry Ramsden’s said, "We are extremely proud of our heritage which has maintained Harry Ramsden’s position as one of the UK’s most recognised brands for almost 90 years. Our existing formats continue to trade exceptionally well across the country and attract an ever increasing and broadening customer base. As we continue to look to the future and further invest in the brand, we retain all the key elements that are loved by our loyal fan base, however now, we are incorporating a more up-to-date look and feel, with the next generation of Harry’s customer in mind. We believe this brand stretch will further enhance Harry Ramsden’s status in the modern day, casual dining market which is flourishing in towns and cities across the UK.
In short, we are moving Harry Ramsden’s from just world famous fish and chips to a more rounded and iconic British brand of the future.”
