Up In My Grill takes over Hawker House's Slider Bar
The streetfood franchise will launch a month-long takeover.
Visitors of Up In My Grill’s Slider Bar will enjoy an array of bite-sized beef burgers, ranging from a classic American cheeseburger with gherkins and burger sauce, to a spicy smoked bacon burger with jalapeño relish and aioli, and a British roast-inspired beef gravy burger with Ogleshield cheese and mustard mayo. Up In My Grill’s popup slider kiosk will be located right next to their regular streetfood steak stall in Streetfeast’s Hawker House, allowing diners to easily sample many different cuts of British beef for the most affordable price.
Co-founders James Roach McGurn and Henry Sutton believe in using the highest quality UK produce, sourcing all of their meat from Charles Ashbridge at his farm Mount Grace in Thirsk, Yorkshire.
Running every Friday and Saturday throughout July, the new popup kiosk in Canada Water is the next phase in the trader duo’s “whole cow steaks” concept, which celebrates top-quality British beef and focuses on providing produce sustainably to support small UK farms and help tackle food waste.
