Keuken launches its first store
Its first store is on 8 Eldon Street between Liverpool Street and Moorgate.
Keuken offers an alternative to the typical lunchtime rush by providing faster access to healthy food. The company is the first in the UK to offer cashless, self-serve pods instead of manned tills and food shelves. Instead of coins and notes, debit cards, credit cards, and contactless methods such as Apple Pay and Android Pay speed up the average customer turnaround time. Each pod displays the food item name, price, ingredients, allergens and nutritional stats. A LCD screen by each column of pods guides customers through the Select, Pay, Enjoy process, ensuring a slick, easy experience.
Refrigerated self-serve pods are stocked throughout the day based on demand, ensuring complete freshness and reduced wastage.
“Our unique self-serve concept enables reduced queuing time and fresher food than anywhere else." said Dominic Dumont, Keuken's Founder.
"Customer feedback from our trial days has been very positive. People like how intuitive the self-serve pods are they enjoy the experience of tasty, nutritious food, served quickly. Our mission is to provide faster, fresher food for busy people."
Keuken offers freshly made salads, wraps, sandwiches, quick bites and breakfasts.
