Mowgli launches at Grand Central
The Indian street food restaurant continues regional expansion in Birmingham with new outlet.
The new 364 square meter restaurant will be located in the casual dining area of Grand Central, alongside Pho and Tapas Revolution.
Founded in 2014, Mowgli currently has presence in Liverpool and Manchester, serving Indian cuisine. The dishes are healthy, often vegan, and packed with fresh flavour.
Head of Restaurants and Leisure at Hammerson Sarah Fox said, “Mowgli is a perfect addition to the line-up at Grand Central, significantly strengthening and diversifying the food and beverage offer at the centre. Grand Central has a varied retail tenant mix, highly complementary to the extensive range of brands at Bullring next door, and with the addition of Mowgli, we are enhancing the dining offer to match, delivering a greater choice for customers throughout the day and into the evening.”
Founder of Mowgli Nisha Katona said, “I am very excited about taking Mowgli to Birmingham and particularly to Grand central. Mowgli is about smash and grab zing of honest, home style, fresh food. It strikes me that Grand Central clients are all about this kind of edgy offer."
