Not Just Any in-flight Meal... This is an M&S in-flight Meal
British Airways announced that it has signed a deal with Marks & Spencer to charge passengers for sandwiches aboard short-haul flights.
The partnership will allow the company to offer more competitive fares than its rivals, such as Ryanair and easyJet which have always charged for meals. More information on the deal is expected to be announced in the near future.
Long haul, business and first class meals will remain unchanged and continue to receive complimentary meals.
