Papa John’s set to open 500th UK store

To celebrate the milestone, the chain is selling a limited-edition “hyper realistic” pizza cake.

Papa John’s is about to reach a new milestone in the UK, having announced the opening of its 500th store in Ormskirk on September 13.

To commemorate the occasion, the pizza chain has created three tasty hyper realistic pizza cakes and is offering a limited supply to customers for free. The treats are based on three of Papa John’s most popular flavours: BBQ Chicken Classic, Double Pepperoni and Chilli Freak.

Customers also have the opportunity to win a lifetime supply of pizza, the chain added.

“We’re delighted to announce the opening of our 500th store in Ormskirk and there’s no better way to mark the occasion than handing out complimentary cakes to our loyal customers across the UK,” Papa John’s UK senior director of marketing Giles Codd.
